Originally from Boyertown, Pennsylvania, the United States, Steve was born on the 9th of October, 1973. Joe and Janet Burns were his parents. The younger of the two Burns sisters, she grew up with her parents. He went to Boyertown Area Senior High School for his studies. After graduating from high school in 1992, he earned his diploma.
Throughout his life, Burns had been fascinated with music, playing in bands including Nine Pound Truck, Sudden Impact US, and the Ivys. Having developed a passion for acting, he studied theatre at DeSales University. After a mid-course change, he shifted to New York City from Los Angeles.
